Brand New Inspiron R 5521 Win8 OS Boot Failure
Hello,
One day old Insiron R 5521 of mine has a problem. I get the error -"Recovery , Your PC needs to be repaired. The application or OS couldn't load because a required file is missing or contains errors. Error Code: - 0xc0000225 File:\Windows\system32\winload.efi "
I browsed through the forums and I found a similar thread here - here.
I tried the steps in the thread and I still seem to have the same problem as the OP in that thread.
Please let me know how to proceed with this.

Hi Akshay,
As you mentioned your computer is only one day old, if you have not installed any important software using disc or software-download then try the “Refresh you PC” option in the troubleshoot menu (see the image below). This will restore any corrupt Operating System files or System files.
Do reply with results.

Hi Zohaib,
Sorry for getting back late on this. I took my laptop back to the Dell Store and they re-installed the OS, manually. I was not getting the option, "Refresh your PC". Thank you. Problem resolved.
