Hi, I just bought a Dell XPS 8500 a few months ago and recently wanted to do a clean install of Windows 8. I have two Windows 8 USB drives. One is a Windows 8 Pro that I bought and the other is a Windows 8 standard that came from Dell.
I will suggest you to check the BIOS settings provided below to see if you have similar settings. If not you may try these settings and then install the operating system.
Once the system restarts, Go to the ‘One Time Boot Menu’ by pressing F12 at the Dell logo 6-7 times.
Select the boot device under UEFI to boot.
Keep me posted with the results. I will be glad to assist you further.
I've the same problem! I tried your suggestion above. Everything was already set at what you suggested.
Any more advice?
Hi Kuldeep, I did everything as you instructed and I am still getting an installation boot loop?
If you don't need Secure Boot, I suggest enabling Legacy Boot instead. Secure Boot is very problematic.
