How to close files and folders when uninstalling Photoshop Elements 11
I have been attempting to uninstall Adobe Elements 11, so that I can re install from the original program DVD.
When attempting to delete this program (C:\programfiles(x86)\adobe\photoshopelements11\), A window pops up stating that this program cannot be deleted as some files or folders are open. I have also attempted to download the program DVD with no success. It just sits there and does nothing.
How do I go about finding the files to close and the procedure to close them?
Your help would be appreciated on this frustrating issue.
P.S. I am running on win 8.1 on Dell 2330.

Hi Mikeandsylvia,
There is a possibility that the residual files of the Adobe Elements 11 are not letting you uninstall the program.
Try installing Revo uninstaller using the below link:

Now using this application try to uninstall Adobe Elements and check if that helps.

Kiran,
I have the Revo Uninstaller Pro installed on my PC. Believe me I have tried all angles to release these files using Revo.
Have you any other ideas?
