You do not need it. When you reinstall Windows 8.1 using the Dell OEM media, it will "see" the code that was injected onto the motherboard. See this.

Windows key should be embedded on the motherboard.
Just install Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, and Windows should activate when you go online.

I restored the WIn8.1 and once turn on the computer, there is a prompt up for window activation. How can I get the Win8.1 product key. (it is not automatic to complete the activation even I connect to the internet. Thanks.
