Installing Windows 8 from Vista

Hi All.

Can you help me install W8 on my Studio XPS 1640 (32 bit)?

I am currently running on Vista and my laptop is aging at 5 times the rate I am.  I tried to install all the latest drivers onto my laptop and then install W8 from the supplied DVD, but to no avail. Apparently the system was not suitable.

Regards

D

The system was not suitable? What did it say about the system, something about the processor or?

You should try this .Run Microsoft Upgrade assistant from below link.

windows.microsoft.com/.../buy

You should check if the Windows8 DVD with you is 32bit or 64bit.If it is 64bit,it may not work with your PC
