i have Windows 8 and I have Installed Synaptics Newer Driver For This Operation System from Synaptics Website..
and My n5010 Laptop Enable/Disable Touchpad Button does not work.
Can i repair it with another way else downgrade to older version of Driver in DELL Website.?
I suggest you to install the Windows 7 Touchpad drivers in Compatibility Mode and check if the Enable/Disable button works. You can download the driver from the following link:
Please follow the steps provided below to install the drivers in Compatibility Mode:
1. Right-click the program's icon and choose Properties.
2. When the Properties dialog box appears, click the Compatibility tab and then click the Run Compatibility Troubleshooter button.
3. In the Compatibility Mode section, select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For check box and select the program's desired Windows version from the drop-down list.
4. Click "OK" and run the file again.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your reply. We have not tested Inspiron N5010 officially with Windows 8 upgrade. Hence drivers for Windows 8 are not available. Please visit the following link that contains the list of Dell computers that are officially tested:
