C:\Program Files\Dell opens upon login
C:\Program Files\Dell opens everytime I login to an account. I have 3 accounts on this computer and it happens for all 3 accounts.
Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening?
Dell Inspiron B130
XP Home SP3
Thanks,
Rick

Anything here point you in the right direction?

Here at least I've seen it posted as occurring with Quickset, Dell Support Center (late 2007 version), or sometimes a Dell Printer (memcard?). But if I recall correctly the lack of quotes around the path was the issue for all of them.

Alexandra_P,
Thank you very much. It was a simple solution. I put the quotations on the DellQuickset and I also added them to the printer, just in case and the folder is now gone.
Thanks again,
Rick

Alexandra_P,
Your secret is safe with me. :emotion-5: I got the email notification with the [collapse]original message. I am trying to cleanup this computer, as my son is going to get this one. I am getting a Studio 17. I have all the updates by using Secunia, so my computer is safe and secure. Trying to get things cleaned up before he receives my laptop.
Thanks again,
Rick
