Changing Default Location for Cookies

I want to change the default location Internet Explorer uses for Cookies. I figured out how to change where IE looks for the Temporary Internet Fles folder, but the Cookies folder remained in the old location. Any suggestions?

Why are you doing this? It may cause more problems than its worth.

I used to have earthlink and it created the cookies folder. I'm on a different ISP now and want to purge all of the Earthlink software and directories from my computer, unless I can't get away with that.

Just clean out the folder.  The other poster was correct in mentioning if you chnage the default location, you are looking for problems.
