Clean installation in new SSD / How i am able to find the windows OS?
Hi all,
i want to replace my HDD to SSD. My question is how to transfer the windows license in order to proceed with a clean installation.
My PC initial came with Windows 8, and after Microsoft promo upgraded to Windows 10.
Could you please advise how to proceed?

The license for your computer is tied to the Microsoft Account you first activated when you upgraded and is kept on MS servers. Download Windows 10 install file version that matches your license, boot to the disk/thumb drive you burn, skip entering a product key at the beginning of the install. Just follow the directions on the MS site. After windows 10 is installed, connect to the Internet to complete the activation. Media creation tool is here--

Be sure to make copies of all your personal files to reinstall after the clean install of windows 10. Select make media for installation on a diff computer to get the iso file to burn to boot media.
