DELL E310 with INTEL RAID \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM error
One of my dell computers gave me a boot error over night. Appears we had a power flicker and the machine rebooted and did not come up. It is now displaying the message "Windows can not start because of the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
I attempted to boot multiple ways so far with no success. Safemode, last configuration and now boot from CD and select the "R" option for repair. The problem appears to be the raid controller is not recognized by the DELL Recovery CD when the system boots. Does this sound right? If so, what would be the recommendation to remedy this issue.....wiping the drives are not a solution.
The raid is configured as RAID 1, but I can not find any documentation on what to do in this situation.
Your response is appreciated in advance...thank you...
