What drivers do you need?  Yes, the Windows 8 drivers will "probably" work.

Dell should not have the drop down option for Windows 7 as they don't actually provide any drivers for Windows 7.

You will need to get the drivers direct from Intel and AMD and take some from the 5437. Install:

I had some trouble finding the Realtek RTL8106E Ethernet Controller, and found the driver for Windows 7 here:

Also installed windows 7 64 and downloaded the drivers recommended here. but has a component that does not think the USB driver.

Most of this hardware is the same as the Latitude 3540 which has Windows 7 drivers. So therefore install the following:

I'm not sure why the boot is so slow? How long does it take to get to the Windows 7 desktop when the PC is powered off?

I'm also not sure if this machine has a mSATA SSD cache drive which you might not have enabled. Likely it does as there is an Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver.
