Error in windows 8.1 activation
I updated my windows 8 to 8.1 recently and it asked for an activation key.I downloaded a software which found my key. After entering the key windows shows an error 0x8007007B. Windows is not getting activated.please help

Not all "key" programs get the proper key. Use RWEverything to read the key from the BIOS - ACPI Tables, MSDM tab.

XP activation is very different from modern activation. Windows 8 OEM keys don't expire, and he doesn't need to buy a new license.

If you cannot activate your windows OS then your key expired. This happens. It happened to all of my windows XP licenses because I kept migrating the OS to different computers. You may need to buy a new windows 8.1 license.
