Insperion 1521
My Insperion 1521 lap top was corrupted by a virus and will not accept an anti virus software, I was advised to reformat the hard drive. How, is that done?

Please follow my instructions below "A Clean Install of Windows Vista/7"; use another computer to download all that is required preferably onto an external hard drive.
Wiping the drive with DBAN (optional step) is recommended. Try to copy what files you want onto a USB stick first and scan this stick on another computer using Malwarebyte's AntiMalware (Free Version).
