Inspiron 5423 Windows 8 to 8.1 update from Microsoft Store fails
I tried several times to update my Inspiron 5423 from Windows 8 to 8.1 from Microsoft Store. Each time, the automatic process appears to download successfully, but then fails shortly after that with the error code 0x80070652. Has anyone else experience this or similar problems? Does anyone have a solution? Thank you.

Please update BIOS and also run complete Windows update before upgrading to Windows 8.1. Click on the link below to flash BIOS:

Reply if you were to perform upgrade to Windows 8.1 after the above suggested steps.

Updating the BIOS solved the problem here. I've now updated to W8.1 and all seems to working fine. Thanks for your help.
