Inspiron 580

Hi,

I bought my mom a inspiron 580 a few years ago and now she is having problems. Since to me it looks like its a software issue I wanted to do a factory image restore. but when I hit the F8 button on the dell logo screen it just goes straight to the window logo and not to the place where you can select window restore or even where one can select the "safe mode" boot.

can I get a system restore cd for her system? If so where would I go and how much do you think it will cost me
