Install Dell Media Direct problem
Hi there,
I am using a Dell Inspiron 9300 with Windows XP Home Edition.
I have the OS already installed, but neglected to install Dell Media Direct.
I have tried to reinstall Dell Media Direct from disk i have, but it wont boot
up, i have already pressed f12 gone to boot menu and tried to boot from CD drive,
but it just logs me in to Windows.
Is there any way i can uninstall windows xp, and reload it with Media Direct,
and then install Media direct ?. I have tried from the add / remove programmes
but it doesnt show up Windows XP, only shows Windows XP service pack 3 but no
way to remove the OS from system.
I then need to install Dell Media Experience from disk i have.
Any thoughts or ideas gladly received.
Thanks
Trev
SP - i have backed up my files and settings

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
