Install Vista - Inspiron N5110 (after Ubuntu 11.10)

So I bought a Dell Inspiron N5110 with Windows 7 from Best Buy a year or so ago and I installed Ubuntu Linux on it. I would like to install Windows Vista over Ubuntu for development purposes. How can I create a dual boot or install Vista over it? I have the Windows Vista Home Premium x86 dvd-rom.  Can someone please help me? :emotion-10:

I would start with this - they are very easy tutorials to follow:

Alternatively if you want just Vista, follow my wiki A Clean Install of Windows Vista. p.s. would you not be better with Windows 7 opposed to Vista? For development purposes, I think it will be better to work with 7 as 7 is more commonly used than Vista.

If the machine has a Windows 7 COA with a readable product key you may use retail media and phone activation. In this case I refer you to my wiki A Clean Install of Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Downloads.

I use older software which isn't compatible with Windows 7 or has various bugs when running on it so I would rather use Vista instead. :-)

I can't see any mention of the Inspiron N5220 on the Dell ftp website or the Drivers and Downloads Page...
