Install W7 in second ssd. Dell studio 1747
Hi, I have a Dell Studio 1747. I've bought and installed a second ssd in the second bay.
I want to install the windows 7 home edition 64bits that I've paid for. But the Dell Datasafe app don't let me install on the second ssd, only in the home hd.
My question is...Is there any way to gets the install dvds of windows that I've paid? or Is there anyway to do this with the recovery dvds created with dell datasafe?

Try putting the SSD in the first bay. If that doesn't work, then you will need to order the Windows 7 DVD's from Dell. Alternatively, you can download the Windows 7 Retail ISO for your edition of Windows, burn to DVD, and install with that, then call Microsoft to activate by phone.

Glad to hear it. Which did you do? Did the Recovery Disks install ok to the drive in bay 1, or did you just do a clean install with a Windows 7 DVD?
