It's frozen and can't get up
This question has been asked before and it seems that no one wants to provide a solution.
I purchased this computer in DEC 2009. Initially it was equipped with Windows VISTA, but through the special program through DELL and Microsoft I was provided with the Windows 7 upgrade free.
I carefully followed the instruction that came with the upgrade disk and installed Windows 7. Everything seemed to go smoothly, but shortly after upgrading the computer began freezing up. Locked up tighter than a crabs A-- and that's water tight. I have asked Microsoft tech support forums but have not gotten any answer other that to look at the Event Manager Logs, which I did. They show a repeat error saying "Operation could not complete because volume H:, I:, K:, F:, G: is not inserted in the drive." I'm not sure, but I would think that this error is BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A H, I J K ,F, G, volume on this machine.
Once the machine freezes up, I have to press the on/off button until the machine shuts down the press it a second time to cause a boot process to be started.
Why is this machine freezing up? I have been told that there is an issue with the ADM processor and Windows 7 and I have also been told that there could be a memory problem or a HARD Drive problem.
