OPTIPLEX INSTALLATION

2 weeks ago, I bought 2 Optiplex 7010 with Windows 7 pre-installed.

Now I need to re-install W7 on another hard drive which will replace the original disk.

In the past, with XP and the DVD delivered by Dell (Drivers included) it was very simple…

As we cannot boot from the DELL DVD, I started the W7 installation on the second HD while the PC was running.

I got 2 big problems:

1 – Nothing works with the drivers missing. I don’t know which are the right for my 7010. There are a lot at http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/fr/fr/frbsdt1/Product/optiplex-7010 and I did not found any link between my order items and possible drivers.

2 – I cannot boot when the new HD is alone because the original HD is still working at the power on.
