Post your shipping date to see how first-come first-served thing is going on....

I'm kind of tired of waiting..
 
So why don't you people who have received their shipping confirmation email post in here the date you redeemed your vista upgrade and the day you received that confirmation email...
 
All this if the First come, first served thing is right..
 
also please write where are you from to see if that has any effect in shipping dates.. Thanks very much...

kinda ironic you didn't post your info? signed up dec 28th. just got home and noticed mine came in today. i would install it, but i'm so tired right now and i have a feeling it will be a pain, lol. oh, i live in calif.

I cannot beleive that you did wait that long!
 
I'm in Montreal, Quebec, and I received my system within 6 business days.
 
However, it's a laptop, not a desktop.
 
Maybe the size of the box will add 2 or 3 weeks to the delivery time?
 
Anyway, my problem now is to find a way to receive a RMA from customer service to return it.
 
Dell = no customer service.

Ooops you were talking about the Vista upgrade, not the entire Dell system!

Unfortunately, my system came with Vista Business installed, and I cannot understand why you all are so impatient to receive it: I bet that most of you will go back to XP.
 
Tech at Dell said that they're going to have Vista running better in... 6 months.
