Quickset not Working on Dell Inspiron N5010 Windows 7 Home Premium

I just installed the latest version of Quickset, hoping to restore my volume control OSD, to no avail.  It gave me some message about Quickset not being installed properly, but gave me no option for changing the settings.  I can open the Mobility Center, but there’s no option in there for turning on/off the volume OSD.  I think something may have gotten messed up in the registry; dœs anyone know how to fix this sort of thing using RegEdit?  Please help.

Cant you uninstall it from the Add/Remove programs in Control Panel?  Install the one from your computer models drivers site. below.
