Rescue Disk issues

I've owned my Dell laptop for two months now and have tried to create Rescue Disks for nearly two months now.  My computer goes through the motions of the process of making Rescue Disks, then it suddenly shuts down with the following error:

Microsoft Windows Repair Disk has Stopped Working.

I have reported this a few times now and have not received a real resolution
