Sidebar.exe went missing from my Windows 7

When I upgraded to windows 7 originally I had Sidebar working, but since then I optimized my system and turned it off.

Now I want to try a new gadget out, and Sidebar.exe is nowhere to be found.

Before anyone brings it up, I have UAC enabled, and I've tried a number of registry / system related fixes but they all came back to the fact that I have that file (and maybe others related to it) missing from my system.

Anyone have suggestions on the best way to go about getting that stuff back on my system without a complete re-install?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Re: Sidebar.exe went missing from my Windows 7

Thanks for the advice guys.

For adding gadgets to my system, I have no gadget options in any menus anywhere on my system. My system doesn't know what to do with a gadget file.

I'll try the other link.
