XPS 15 9750, taskbar search bar disappears, WiFi networks list shows no SSID

Hi All, I am running an XPS 15 9750. My Taskbar is having issues at startup. When I click the search bar, it disappears. When I click the Wireless network icon, I see no SSIDs. I created a batch file to run as Administrator whenever I restart the laptop. Once I do this, the taskbar works fine and both of these issues are gone.

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
start explorer.exe
exit 

Any thoughts on how to make the taskbar start up correctly?
