Troubles still

Is there any chance I could have a recovery disk "made" and E-mailed to me?  I misplaced mine and now I'm in a safe mode never ending loop.

Dimension 4550 / 2.4Ghz
Bios ver A06

Thanks

Callins,

You can try the links here but chances are not good that you will be able to get one.

Will a recovery disc work.  I'm locked in a never ending safe mode boot loop and I cannot change my boot sequence to the hard drive or it will not recognize it.  It's almost like the repair/reinstall I performed late last night messed up my hard drive.  Can not start windows?????/

Thanks anyways

There is no Dell Recovery Disk. If you performed a reinstall/repair you already have the Reinstallation Disk that you use as a boot disk for repair and reinstallation. That's what Denny was talking about. You might have damaged the Master Boot Record or System Boot files and need to use the Reinstallation Disk to access the Recovery Console to repair it. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314058&Product=winxp
