Unable to access webpage.

Joined a flight simulator forum (Dash8 Q300 support forum) a few days ago. Had been viewing the site the past ten days with no problem. Two days ago went to log on and got the IE page not found error. I figured the server was down and emailed the admin. He said the server was up. Today, I went to a friends house and was able to get to the website with no problem so something on my PC is preventing me from accessing that website. I have tried temporally disabeling NAV, and NIS but that didn't help. I have no clue on why I cannot access the webpage now. Ran adaware and no spyware or malware was detected. Just did a clean install of XP about 3 months ago. Just don't understand why I am unable to access that page when it was working fine before. Ant assistance would be appreciated. Thanks. Here is the link to the support forum.

Did you try logging with a different browser? Try using Firefox or any other browser...

or else,

Also check if your internet Explorer is updated recently..If you are running a newer version that's changed recently ... try switching back to the earlier version.

Try cleaning out your browser cache and temp files and try again.

I clean the casche and temp files reguarly. I have noticed lately that when viewing other webpages that IE stops responding and have to use Cntl-Alt-Delete to stop the application. It doesn't do it everytime, just randomly. I am beginning to wonder if IE may be corrupt? I assume there are ways to repair IE without having to reinstall XP. Will have to do some research.

Try turning off all of the BHO's in IE, first and see if the problem goes away.

IE6 can be repaired with IE Fix. Unsure if it will work with IE7.
