I cannot see past the first line of my original post. So to reiterate:
What has happened is that Windows boots up with an unreadable font. System restores have proved temporarily effective, as has in-place upgrades/re-installs. I have run several
anti-virus programs including MS Sweeper tool. The problem keeps coming back . Any ides?
