Vista 32 to Win 7 64bit upgrade ?
I am going to do the above upgrade with new WD 320 gb Sata drive. I have MediaDirect cd to load first. I see that Win 7 64bit has the restore feature. In loading the OS, will I have to partition for the Restore as "D" or will the OS do that for me. I have read the forum: Re: 1-TB RAID 0 on XPS M2010 and this doesn't explain this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I have already upgraded I went from Vista 32 to 64 and then to Windows 7 64bit, but again I kept my "D" drive from its origin. I have the 1-TB RAID 0 XPS M2010 Centrino Duo Core. 4 GB.
