Vista Business/Ultimate 64Bit on XPS430
Hi,
I want to buy an XPS 430 but on the site it appear that I can buy only with:
Vista Home Premium 64 Bit
Vista Ultimate 32 Bit
I want to use or a Business 64 Bit or a Ultimate 64 Bit version. I can installa at my own but is possibile to have such of that configuration?!? Is there anyone that has Vista Business or Ultimate 64 Bit in that computer?
Please let me know.

Have you tried calling a sales person and have them place the order and let them know what OS you would like to purchase?

And for the 64 Bit Vista Ultimate?

The drivers for the 64 bit Vista Premium will be the same drivers as 64 bit Vista Business.

thanks for your response. I call the sales person (here in Italy) and they told me that for their system on Dell XPS 430, it is possibile to have:
Vista home Premium 64 Bit
Vista Ultimate 32 Bit
Of course I will have the ability to upgrade to Windows 7 when it will exit.
I'm quite disoriented because if in that computer I could install Vista home Premium 64 Bit why I can't install Vista Uiltimate 64 Bit or Vista Business 64 Bit?!? I supopse that the drivers should be the same, do you have some experience in that configuration?!?

Yes, it would be the same 64 bit drivers.

I am not sure why you cannot choose to purchase this system with the 64 bit OS. We have the drivers for 64 bit listed for this computer. You may have to ask the salesman that question.

thanks for your response, so I will buy this machine and I will install Vista Ultimate 64 Bit. If you can confirm me that, I really don't understand why on the Dell's website only the 32 version of Windows Vista is eligible to buy and not the 64 version of the software.
Can you explain me that thing?!?
