Visual Basic 6

I'd like to buy/view a guide for Visual Basic 6.   I have no programming experience whatsoever (which is what I'm finally trying to remedy). Any suggestions on what the best guide I should get would be? This can be either online or bought in paper. Thanks

Probably one of the best free ones is from:

http://www.adersoft.com/

It is also easy to use. There are also many other ones if you Google them.

chuket, that is for VB Script writing.  The OP wants to learn about Visual Basic 6.

My suggestion would be to google VB or visual basic code snippets and look at what others have done.

Find a group that is for beginners and join it.  Think of something that you want to do with VB and then with the help of the group, create a program.  Start out with something really easy.

I used to belong to a group when I first started and they were a big help for me.

That site works with both VBS and JScript.

I am not disagreeing with you.  But VBS stands for Visual Basic Sript which is not the same as the development software Visual Basic 6.

You are welcome.

Good luck with your programming experience.  There are a lot of support groups that you can join to help you with VB6.
