Hi thanks for the reply. But i dont have a printer conected and have never installed printer drivers ??? and it reports at 4 gig in size not 4 mb. The only thing i can think it is, is part of the 'reinstall' program?

Bet you've got a Dell 944 printer... Don't trust the size as reported of the program, but if you are really worried and think reinstalling the printer and its drivers is worthwhile, you may, I say "may", get a reduction in the size that Windows thinks it is. (It's probably not that big at all.)

As I wrote this, it struck me that nvidia drivers range in the 10s of Mb size because they combine drivers for many different models; perhaps Dell does the same.

4 Gb! some file! Click on properties, does it give you a clue? As far as I have been able to find out, only Dells have this file.

All i get is this -  size - 4,095.00MB used - rarely. If i click on support i get this - Publisher : Dell, Version : 1.0.0, Contact : Dell.

Call Dell! You may be able to claim back some HD space. If you do get an answer, it would be worth while posting it as there is little about it anywhere else and it's worrying other people too.

Did you find out what this is and if it can be removed or not? I have the same thing on my computer and it is taking all my hard drive.

I realize this is stale, but others may find it when researching, just like I did.

This is the software for a Dell Photo AIO Printer 944. Too bad it doesn't have a better description in the programs list.
