Where did the new account on my computer come from???!!!?!?!
I don't know if I'm in the right forum or not, but maybe someone can help. I went to the User Accounts screen today and found a new "limited" account on our pc. the name on it is "ASP.NET Machine A...". anyone know what it is or where it came from? How can I find out how it came to be? Can I safely delete it? Any help would be appreciated.

I've should've known you would be the one with the answer. But tell me-do i need this account? Should I have it? Will I need it somewhere down the road? And where did I get it? Did it come in on one the the MS updates?

You don't need it unless you are planning to develop applications for the .NET framework. You can find a little more about it here.
