Windows 2003 Server on Latitude D510

When I try to install a Windows 2003 Server on my Latitude D510 I get an "Memory Parity Error" Blue Screen!
This is really anoying and the dell support is ignoring it because the D510 is not ment as a server!!

I guess i'm not the only one trying to get a 2003 server to work on the D510 and I would like some support.

well ... I am going to try the same thing but with win2k server.  think I will try it on another hard drive though.

the first thing I will do is run the "readiness" analyzer to see if bios is updated or can be to specs.  think same should hold true with 2003 server.  have seen such before with 2k when bios was not compatible, but ya' never know.  lat d510 may just may not be certified for it.  have seen lat d610's running 2k server; no problem.  Global Knowledge uses then for Cisco classes all the time.  Seems a little more 3rd party research and trial and error may be the way to go.  don't think dell would won't to get involved.

go luck
