Windows 7 Professional English 64bit (Includes Windows 10 Pro License)

I recently purchased a Dell and the only way the hardware options I wanted would come is if the OS was Windows 7 Pro with an included Windows 10 Pro License.  So I received the computer and I would like to upgrade it from the start.  However, I can't seem to find instructions on how to do this.

I have looked at the How to Set Up your new Dell Computer on the Knowledgebase, but it does not mention my situation.

I have looked at the Windows 10 Upgrade Walkthrough on the Knowledgebase. But it does not mention my situation.

I have tried the WIndows 10 Downgrade System on the Knowledgebase, but again it does not mention my situation.

The computer came with a purple CD that sys to ensure that the BIOS setting is set to UEFI mode prior to installing Windows 10.  But if I adjust this setting and run the CD there is no mention about upgrading to Windows 10 in the options available.

The Windows 10 Upgrade walkthrough talks about updating the Windows 7 install with Service Pack 1, but none of the info that came with the PC shows an upgrade code which I would probably need since the Microsoft free upgrade time period has expired.

So how to I upgrade this new computer to windows 10?  Just wondering what info I am missing.  I assumed this would be simple.  I shouldn't have to reinstall all my preinstalled software and drivers on a brand new computer on day one.

Thanks,

7 Technologist

You have a MSDM tab embedded in your UEFI BIOS which contains your Windows 10 Pro OEM Product Key. Windows 10 RS1 Installation Media will automatically input this Product Key during Installation and Windows will automatically activate when you are online. See here for more details:

Note Disable Legacy ROMs and Enable Secure Boot in your UEFI setup for optimal performance and Security:
