Windows 7 - sfc

Picks up error re msfdmap.ini which is in Windows folder but can't fix it. Therefore have to manually extract it and place it, etc.  Can't extract it from my Win7 Ultimate dvd cause it doesn't appear to be there. Not sure if it's a major file for my purposes but I'd like to have sfc run to completion and it won't with this damaged file unrepairable.

Tried DISM but "The Restorehealth option is not recognized in this context"; I believe I need a Windows 8 version of DISM, not sure.

Would appreciate some help.
