Windows Update can’t boot OS on XPS 9360

I’m on the windows insider program which downloaded some updates to install. When I rebooted to install them it won’t load the OS anymore. I tried to use the supportAssist OS recovery tool but it fails to wipe the drive and install the factory edition of Windows. Laptop is still under warranty but I’m in Ukraine at the moment.  Any suggestions? I bought the laptop in Australia.

You must request a warranty and/or ownership transfer if you:

  • Purchased or received a new or used Dell product
  • Sold or given away your Dell product
  • Moved to another country and need coverage in that region
  • Request permanent address change for your Dell product with a service tag

Here's what you will need

  • Service Tag of product to be transferred
  • Name and zip code used at time of purchase
  • Name and address warranty is being transferred to
