WindowsXPMode_N_en-us.exe vs WindowsXPMode_en-us.exe
What is the difference between these two downloads? I search MS download site and it has nothing about WindowsXPMode_N_en-us.exe I could find. I will go back to see if there is soemthing in the knowledge base.

N edition does not have Media Player. It is for some ridiculous anti-trust situation in Europe. Install the non-N version.
