hide sp3

High I have dial up and do not want this update at this time.For some reason I am unable to hide this update in the usual manner by going to custom install and choosing to hide it. There are no options to do this! I want to loose the update shield in task bar.Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks

mombodog, Thanks for the link.I found the way to do this without going into registry.Instead of going to windows update site I just right clicked the shield in task bar,unchecked the sp3 download box and then checked the box that said do not show this update again. Worked for me anyway!
