system recovery option any help
good day every one i'm having trouble in restoring windows 8 on my vostro 5460..
with an error message of 0xc00000f
i tried using system recovery option .but upon clicking on "install now" asking me to enter product key..the problem is i d'ont have a copy of it.
any help is highly appreciated and pls give other option in using system recovery option

Windows 8 has reached End of Life. Use Windows 8.1 with Update 2 installation media or Windows 10 TH2 installation media. See here for details:

thnx for your immediate response
is it possible that i have to recover/reinstall first my windows 8 before upgrading to windows 10.
and one more thing how can i retrieve the product key on my pre-installed windows 8

You can directly clean install Windows 10 TH2 sometimes a UEFI BISO update from Windows 8.1 helps however.
The product key is embedded in the UEFI BIOS. Utilities like RWEverything can be used to determine them but you need to have Windows installed first to run them.
