where best to load MS Office XP?

Hi

I'm preparing to upload/install Microsoft Office XP. Is it possible and or advisable to place the program on a separate partition? If this is advisable what are the processes and procedures for accomplishing this? I've done some research on this but would welcome any recommendations anyone has on reading materials. Thanks.

Install it in the default location.

Always best to leave the program where the default is, fir updates and the like, but I alwasy move the Data folders off to a separate partition.

Agreed. Install the apps in the default folder on the boot drive, and put all the data on a separate partition or even a second drive, if you have one in the PC.
