i have recently installed vista home basic on my inspiron 9300,but i cannot find factory settings to restore xp.i have tried everything but no luck.can any one help. thanks.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
If you formatted your harddrive to install Vista then the restore partiton is no longer available.

Need to use the CDs supplied with the system.
