I have a Z90S7 thin client that has bit the dust; there isn't any startup activity other than the blue light going on. I would like to move the upper row of supplementary communications connectors: serial, PS2 & parallel ports from that device to a Z50D. IfImove the hardware, including the metal back panel and plug the cables into the appropriate motherboard connectors will the ports function? Will the BIOS handle the new hardware or is it crippled to exclude it? Is there a reason not to try it?
