Cannot get Xoom to connect, VNC setup problems
Cannot get Xoom to connect, VNC setup problems
Hello,
I am brand new here. I just downloaded the PocketCloud app for my Xoom today and installed the software to my macbook. (OSX 10.5.8)
When trying to set up the software on my macbook the VNC Setup fails. It cannot complete the first step (VNC Service is not running) or the second step (VNC password is not set)- even though it asks for a password to access the computer. It says the VNC auto configuration is successful and gives me my ip address.
However VNC to Port 5900 failed so I am unable to sign in.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Suchitha

Hi ch,
You will need to set this up:
*********************
Please navigate to systems preference-sharing.
check Remote management.
click on computer settings.
Set password there.
Please let me know if this works!
Thank you!

On windows 7, you will need to install vnc application first. If it is home edition it will be installed for you.
Thank you

Similar problem, but with Windows 7. What do I do in that case?
