Keyboard Viewsonic ViewPad 7
The keyboard function does not work in a Viewsonic Viewpad7. Android 2.2
I have tried it with vmware view and rdp with and without companion tools.
(booth local wifi and 3g)
Is there any fix that i can apply?
I have now tried rdp to physical pc and have the same result.
Funktion keys does work but no keyboard.
Autodetect keyboard is checked.

The keyboard won't appear at all or are you saying all the keys like A-Z don't do anything when you tap on them? We haven't had a chance to test on the Viewsonic ViewPad yet.

Are you pressing the "Menu" key and then tapping "Keyboard"?

And yes i have tried to type on the virtual "invisible" keyboard with no result. have also tried to activate the keyboard via the mouse function with the same result.

Its (viewsonic) factory Android 2.2 OS. Yes i can take a video, Do you have a ftp upload or something similar where i could post the video?

Is your device jail broken or is it running the factory Android OS? Would it be possible for you to take a video with your cell phone camera of the issue? That will help our Developers debug.

Hi,
Currently PocketCloud supports only tablets that comes with Android Market pre-installed on the device.

Hi kung, Out of interest, when your function keyboard pops up, can you use the switch icon on top menu(next to contrl) .Does that show the keyboard? what have you selected on your android -settings-keyboard?

Hi Fred, what is your keyboard settings on the android device? settings-keyboard
Are you able to switch to keyboard using the top menu (I assume you are able to see control keyboard)
