Keyboard problem

Keyboard problem

When I login, I connect to my remote
desktop with out issue, my problem is when I tap my login password box to logon to my remote computer, the keyboard on my xoom will not initiate so that I can enter my password and complete the logon to my remote computer. Can anyone help out with this problem?

Hi Chris, you will need to install our companion software on your remote computer.
Also go to settings-keyboard settings-keyboard auto-activate ON.

The initial login screen wont activate the keyboard. It is the limitation of the protocol. 
Once you login , you should see the pointer.

I have done the activate keyboard process and still no keyboard or pointer showing

I logged in all the way to the remote desktop and still no pointer, this used to work be fore 3.2 update please advise

Hi gr3000,

Please reboot your Xoom device and try to login again, you should see the pointer

Hi gr3000, we were aware of this issue long back but, we think it has been fixed in our last release. May we know the version number of the app.

Please click on sky/cloud icon on the top left corner of the screen. It will show you the version. Meanwhile I will try to reproduce.

hi gr3000 ,
you will need to use the menu button on the bottom.
Do you have a hard button on your device? some devices do not have them. so checking.

This is the Motorola Xoom, no hard button except the power button

using RDP
software version 1.2.217

I have even tried to use the windows on screen keyboard to login and still get no pointer

I guess it is the latest version because it dose not allow me to upgrade, when I cheoose help and about it takes me to your home page, I am using pocket cloud pro, I paid $15 for it.
