Log on screen not fully painting

Log on screen not fully painting

I click Connect and only the top bar of the logon box shows up. Have rebooted the iPad and have reinstalled the Windows client. Have previously connected without any trouble.

Nothing has changed (except for time) and now I get logged in

But... Now none of my icons are responding to clicks. I see a desktop and all my icons, but I can't do anything.

Are you connecting via RDP or VNC? What version of Windows are you connecting to (Vista, 7, XP, Home, Professional, Ultimate, etc)?
