Many connection issues The Ipad app quites during connection help!

I installed first on a IMAC using OS 10.6.7 Then installed the companion software etc.
then installed the app on my Ipad.

I am logged in on the Imac and I did right click to test VPN connection
I also made sure remote connection is checked in sharing

in the my computers list my Imac name does show up when you click edit
the password is always blank even when i enter it (By the way is this the Google account password
or Imac authentication password?) Also same i have the same password question when I click on the computer icon in your app it then asks me for a password so Google Password or IMAC password?

FYI in your Ipad app under discovered connections the ICon states VPN do I want to use VPN or RDN?
and how to proceed on that?

Your app then simply quits and this goes on and on in a viscous cycle so much fun or states can not connect to the server glad i did not pay for this
Please help?

It is always disapointing when you want an app to work and you spend time to explain the issues and all you are able to do is vent on a comunity board where it seems many folks are having issues with this app. It is too bad the company does not seem to care or respons??????

Lame app and lame service = wast of time

Hi travelingjohn,

We apologize for this late reply.
Let me quickly go over the setup process.
1. On Mac, open "System Preferences" and check "Remote Management"
2. Select "Remote Management" and click "Computer Settings..." button.
3. Check "VNC Viewers may control screen with password:" and set the password.

On iOS,
1. Open the connection.
2. Enter the password you set in the previous step 3.
(Google password will only be used in gmail login)

For manual connection, you will need the machine's IP and VNC connection.
If your machine is behind a router, you will need to configure it http://www.wyse.com/products/softwar.../faq/index.asp

Currently, there is a server issue which may make auto-discovery connection failed. We'll have an update soon.

ok finally a reply but still many issues Yute!

Please be very clear on instrusctions step by step.

One my router is a Apple time capsule the article link you sent me is quite lame with many topics
None show hot configure the router

FYI I am tyring to use this with an IPAD So please explain step by step what you mean by the following:

For manual connection, you will need the machine's IP and VNC connection.
If your machine is behind a router, you will need to configure it www.wyse.com/.../index.asp

NEXT:
In IPAD when you launch your app pocket cloud. it now shows 2 icons for my IMAC. NOt sure how to use manual you state open connection can you please explain how to do these step by step like launch pocket clouse click on edit list or edit next to icon etc.
