is there a way to stop keyboard from popping up every time i click on a link?

im using pocketcloud on my iphone. its cool but everytime i tap a link or button on my screen the keyboard assumes i will be typing something and automatically pops up. its irritatong having to close the keyboard every time. im sure there is a solution but i havent discovered it yet. please help
