D10D to Windows 2000
D10D to Windows 2000
Hi everybody,
I got brand new D10D (RDP 8.0) and when I connect to windows 2000 (RDP 5.0) I got odd display issue with interface colors turned to yellow or pink.
No issue with other Wyse models or windows 20003 servers.
Connections are configured with 256 colors.
I’m I the only one??

Jean,
None of the current Dell Wyse products are tested with Windows 2000 since it has been EOL'd by Microsoft, so they may not work. Take a look at the following link for a possible workaround: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...itproappcompat

I used:
noreducer=yes
this command solved half of the problem as windows and background get back to normal but still I got issues with text (desperately yellow/red)

Hi,
It did not work for me.
I have the same “color” issue with all my 2K servers.
It works fine from windows 8 with RDP 8.1
Question is am I the only one trying to access Win 2K with D10D holding the latest firmware.
